Martina Burns
Martina Burns is the eHealth Delivery Director for Acute Hospitals, HSE Ireland. Martina joined the Health Services in 1989 and has worked in many different ICT roles, mainly in the Acute Services area – Systems Analyst/Programmer, IT Manager, Senior Project Manager, Deputy Delivery Director.
As Delivery Director for Acute Hospitals, Martina is responsible for eHealth engagement with Acute Hospitals and for the delivery of a broad portfolio of information systems within the Acute Services areas. This includes aligning ICT strategy, governance and investment nationally and with hospital groups; sponsoring and delivering major ICT-enabled change projects/programmes/initiatives and working with the business lead/directors in ensuring that business benefits are achieved..
