Treasa Dempsey

Treasa has dedicated over 30 years to the IT industry, with more than two decades spent contributing to the Health Service Executive (HSE) under various iterations of the Technology and Transformation (TT) function. Her HSE career began as a Business Analyst in the Southern Health Board, where she honed her analytical and strategic skills. Over the years, she has evolved through roles in Business Development, Planning and Portfolio Management, before taking on senior leadership positions as Deputy Chief Operating Officer (COO), and currently as Chief Operating Officer of Technology and Transformation.

As COO of TT, Treasa is responsible for the effective and secure operation of the ICT business, ensuring that both day-to-day operations and long-term strategic initiatives align with organisational goals. In addition to managing the operational aspects of the business, she plays a pivotal role in developing, articulating, and executing the TT strategy. Her leadership is informed by a comprehensive set of metrics, which she uses to monitor divisional performance, set improvement targets, and drive excellence across various domains, including Human Resources, Finance, Project Portfolio Management, Risk Management, and Vendor Management.

Treasa believes that the true drivers of innovation and success are the individuals who bring their expertise, creativity, and passion to the table. While she provides guidance, coaching, and oversight, it is the team’s collective efforts that turn visionary concepts into tangible, industry-changing solutions.
