Tech Excellence Awards 2018

The Annual Tech Excellence Awards Ceremony 2018 held on the 24th May in the CityWest Hotel in Dublin. The evening, which was capped with stunning successes by HSE teams picking up two major awards, Jane Carolan (HBS) won the IT Professional of the year and the Public Sector project of the year was won by eHealth Ireland's Maternal and Newborn Clinical Management System project (MN-CMS).

IT Professional of the Year

Jane Carolan won this award which is given to the team or individual who has demonstrated outstanding management of technology.  Jane, in an interview with the host for the evening Sarah McInerney, thanked all the staff and colleagues who made the achievement possible.

Public Sector Project of the Year

The Maternal and Newborn Clinical Management System project (MN-CMS) within eHealth Ireland picked up the Public Sector project of the year award. The MN-CMS aims to implement a an electronic health record for all women and babies in maternity services in Ireland. There are many benefits to this, including improved patient care and more efficient recording of information. To find out more see here
