Connecting with Irish Digital Start-ups and SMEs
To create an initial ‘touch point’ for digital companies who wish to partner with eHealth Ireland and help deliver the strategic programmes, eHealth Connect has been established. Further partnership and financial support will be offered to companies with potential eHealth solutions which will improve patient care or processes. eHealth Connectwill also provide advice, support and encouragement to start-ups and SME’s in the formation of partnerships with other companies or other divisions within HSE.
To facilitate this, connection meetings will occur monthly on a rotating basis in Dublin, Galway, Cork and Limerick. The first of these meeting will take place on the 14th June, 2016 in Health Innovation Hub in Cork. To book a meeting slot please email Clyde Hutchinson at email@example.com
To increase the awareness of breath and diversity of indigenous Irish digital and connected health start-up and SME companies amongst the eHealth Ireland ecosystem, we have created a database of firms below:
This year will also see eHealth Ireland run a series of Innovation Challenges across Ireland which will allow budding entrepreneurs, technologists and healthcare innovators the opportunity and space to develop their ideas and concepts further. The first challenge will be held in conjunction with Trinity College Dublin in July and will look for digital innovations to assist those affected by Bipolar Disorders. The most promising ideas will be invited to continue to expand their concept with the FutureHealth programme. Future Health is Ireland’s first digital health pre-accelerator run in conjunction with NDRC
